Since 1989, Charlie's Fixtures has specialized in design, layout, custom-made hoods, and sheet metal works, and has also supplied all types of food service equipment and appliances to commercial establishments. The company also extends its vast services to the international market.

Charlie's Fixtures stands in Venice Boulevard, Los Angeles, spanning over 40,000 square feet, with more than 40 friendly employees to best serve its loyal customers. Charlie's Fixtures prides itself in selling all major brands of food service equipment on its shelves, such as Hobart, Traulsen, True, Delfield, Krowne, Blodgett, Amana, Bakers Pride, Frymaster, American Range, Imperial Range, Wolf Range, Cambro, Scotsman, Ice-O-Matic, and many others.

Several popular television shows have featured Charlie's Fixtures, such as Bravo's reality show Top Chef, NBC’s America’s Next Great Restaurant, FOX’s Hell’s Kitchen, Spike TV’s Bar Rescue, and HBO’s Chemistry. In 2008, Real Talk LA lauded Charles Lao, the owner of Charlie’s Fixtures, as the “Undisputed Master of LA Restaurant Supplies”. In the 2011 August issue of Los Angeles magazine, Charlie’s Fixtures was distinctly included in the list of the Top Los Angeles Area’s cooking supply stores. Most recently, Charlie's Fixtures and its owner Charles Lao appeared in Jon Favreau's 2014 film, Chef.
